You look awesome!

I know looks matter. You know it too.  We shouldn’t feel guilty about it though!

I sometimes feel like I LIVE in fitness clothes and there’s nothing like putting on something that looks fabulous to help us towards our fitness goals.  I just purchased more fitness clothes from New Zealand again.

Yes.  I go through the trouble of actually purchasing over the internet, and having clothes shipped all the way halfway around the world because it’s worth it!  The fast service (door to door delivery in days), the incredible quality of material, the fabulous feel, and of course, the great looks makes purchases of LMI branded clothes well worth it – if I were Brook Shields in the 80’s, I’d be saying “nothing comes between me and my LMI’s”

P.S. Someone just asked me about LMI clothes from New Zealand, so I went to Google to do a search. I typed in “New Zealand LMI clothes” (no quotes) and lo and behold – this post was the 3rd one in Google. I’m STUNNED. Go ahead. Try it! :)

I’m the same in that I feel my tennis wardrobe of Nike Dri-Fit and “Roger Federer” shirts make my regular clothing look like crap. I buy all of my workout gear from the U.S. (since they have rare styles and color variants) and typically have them shipped to friends’ homes so that I can avoid paying taxes and duties. The only drawback is that I’ll have to wait until they come up to visit to get my new duds.

Ahhhh. I’m way too impatient to wait! Is there a site in the US you buy your gear from? – Daisy

I can typically get my stuff from my friends in the US about 4 to 6 times a year, so it’s not that bad. Besides, I already have 7 pairs of very good Nike Dri-Fit tennis shorts with pockets to carry tennis balls, and more shirts than I can count, so it’s not like I really need more frequent shipments:)

I’ve paid as little as $25 USD (free shipping and no tax or duties) for Nike Dri-Fit tennis shorts with pockets…while in Toronto, they’ll charge $45 + tax for the same pair and only offer it in the white or black colorway (how lame is that?).

I like buying my sports apparel from http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/ , http://www.midwestsports.com/ or Nike.com. Be sure to checkout their clearance sections as I was able to even get my mom a ton of tops and pants for like 1/3 the cost (since she’s a size small, which doesn’t sell out that fast)! For example, I was able to get her a Maria Sharapova Nike Sphere Macro React 3/4 length top for ONLY $26.99 USD (it was on sale). Something like that isn’t even sold in the crappy Toronto retailers and if it did, it would go for close to $100 after taxes. This is what the shirt looks like http://www.nike.com/index.jhtml?l=nikestore,pdp,_pdp,cid-1/gid-142866/pid-114889&re=US&co=US&la=EN&cp=USNT_KW_Performics#l=nikestore,pdp,_pdp,cid-1/gid-142866/pid-114889&re=US&co=US&la=EN

And don’t get me started on shoes. I paid $71.95 USD (free shipping, no tax or duties) for a pair of new Saucony shoes at http://www.runningwarehouse.com/ , while The Running Room in Toronto was asking for $139.99 + tax!! It’s like new model shoes in the US are more than 50% off when compared to Canadian prices!

Beauty – I will check it out when I have time to breathe! :) – Daisy
